Day 02 - City Tour

Breakfast

We leave the hotel to visit the main attractions in Santiago. From the historical city to the modern buildings. We take the high avenue, Alameda Bernardo O´Higgins, we will visit the Palacio Presidencial de la Moneda, then walk by the streets of Huerfanos and Ahumada that take us to Plaza de Armas. Around, we will see the Church Cathedral, The Post Office and the Council of Santiago. After that, we will take a look at Santa Lucia Mountain, strategic point of the city foundation. We continue through Parque Forestal and Museo de Bellas Artes; crossing the Mapocho river, we arrive to Bellavista Suburb, bohemia place with strong cultural activity. Nearby is the entrance to Parque Metropolitano with San Cristobal Mountain from where we will be able to appreciate the whole city. We conclude our trip visiting the new city center, Providencia and Las Condes and Vitacura suburbs.

Viña del Mar and Valparaiso
Departure: daily - in the morning (9 am)
Duration: 10 (ten) hours approximately

Departing the hotel towards the Pacific Ocean, going through the valleys of Curacavi and Casablanca rich in corps and vineyards. Then, we will arrive to the city of Valparaiso, main port of the country and the whole South Pacific until the Panama Channel was created in 1914.
We will visit the city center and towns surrounding the hills, to be able to understand more about the most important city of the beginning of 20th century in Chile. The main squares and the centenary port tradition will amazed us.
Bordering the coast, we arrive to Viña del Mar in the North. The most famous beach with parks and many palm trees characterize this place as "Garden City". After beaches, Casino and avenues we go back to Santiago.
