Morning excursion to Santa Maria del Tule, a picturesque village famous for its enormous and majestic sabino tree, probably the largest in the world, over 2000 years old, dwarfing the quaint church of Santa Maria next to it. Continue to Mitla , the mythical “City of the Dead”, a unique archaeological site famous for its exquisite geometrical decoration formed by thousands of small stone mosaics.
